Search Engine Optimization features

We have created newSEOfeaturesto allow you to customize various aspects of the site homepage, as well as the building (complex) pages of the site, arguably the most important pages. 
Here is a summary of what you can customize for homepage and building page SEO, followed by where to go in our admin system to access the corresponding setting.  
1) Homepage SEO customization features:
Here you can change SEO related settings for the homepage of the site (eg.  http://www.condosurrey.com):
  • To edit homepage h1 tag (go to: Site Settings, Homepage SEO: H1 Tag)
  • To edit homepage body (upper page) content (go to: Site Settings, Homepage: Content)
  • To edit homepage/global HTML title tag (go to: Global Settings)
  • To edit homepage meta description and keywords tags (go to: Global Settings)
2) Building (Complex) page SEO customization features:
The Building (Complex) pages (eg.  http://www.condosurrey.com/aura-2-10707-139-street-surrey) are arguably the most important pages on the site, therefore we have created flexible options for SEO and customization.  
You can customize various elements (HTML titles, h1, meta descriptions) on a global, or per page basis.   Here is a video of how it all works:

Default Settings (Template)
Global building SEO settings are used by all complexes/buildings, unless you set a building specific setting:
  • To edit the default building h1 template (go to: Site Settings, H1 Tag Template)
  • To edit the default building HTML title template (go to: Site Settings, Title Tag Template)
  • To edit the default building meta description template: (go to: Site Settings, Meta Description Template)
  • To edit the default building meta keywords template: (go to: Site Settings, Meta Keywords Template)
And here are the tags you can use in the templates:
  • [complex_name] - name of the complex
  • [complex_address] - address of the complex
  • [site_title_tag] - insert the global site title tag
  • [subarea] - the subarea name
Building Specific Settings (will override the default settings):
  • To add a custom building h1 tag (go to: Complexes, then edit a complex, then SEO H1 Tag)
  • To add a custom building HTML title tag (go to: Complexes, then edit a complex, then SEO Title Tag)
  • To add a custom building meta description (go to: Complexes, then edit a complex, then SEO Meta Description)
  • To add a custom building meta keywords tag (go to: Complexes, then edit a complex, then SEO Meta Keywords)
